Week 4 & 5

Well due to an unexpected surgery, I was not able to go to class this week. And was sick when week 4 was due. Week 4 was a fun assignment. I liked looking up places kids, teachers, and parents could go to for fun learning activities. It was nice to have an easier assignment due, even though it still took some time. For week 5, I was not there. I have played around and looked through some ideas for my culture graham. I am thinking about doing it on Chile or Costa Rica. I will write more about week 5's lesson when I get if finished after our next class.

Thanks again for working with me, my surgery went well and I will be back in class on Tuesday!

Week 3

Last weeks class was nice. I liked getting enough time to work on our new pages. This weeks lesson/assignment was a lot harder than the last two. I understand the basics of writing the text, uploading picture, and basic links. I was able to bookmark my links as well. I tried uploading a video to my page and so far it hasn't worked. I think I have learned a lot, and I hope I am able to catch on quickly to these next lessons!

week 2

I thought class went well today. I learned a lot about my uen account. I think having an account like this could be very useful. I would love to have a place online where I could have different tabs for my students to be able to find what they need quickly. It is very organized and all in one place. Kids, teachers, and parents can appreciate that! haha. I liked how we did a lot of hands on stuff today, it made time go by really fast because we were constantly working. I am a little nervous about remembering how to do everything we did in class. Hopefully I can get the hang of it pretty quick though. All in all I thought we learned a lot today and didn't waste any time!

Week 1

First post for our class! This sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun. I am excited to learn more about our technology in computers :) I am a little nervous about this class and I hope I can keep up with the pase of it. Our first class went great! It is a 2 hour class, so I hope we are able to have a little break inbetween sitting on these hard chairs for 120 minutes. Other than that I am really looking forward to it!
